Antlers take most of the cruise-ship cheese out of slide guitar as well as take home the Accurate Song Title Award of the week with “Drift Dive,” taken from upcoming 4-track EP Undersea. An excellent track for a lazy summer day when the A/C isn’t working and all you want is some mint lemonade with ice. If there’s any cruise ship-ness to this, it’s a very lonely cruise ship, as directed by Sofia Coppola.
I’d Soundtrack It To: Our hero/heroine is drifting aimlessly in a pool after a messy breakup, with nowhere to go. He/she falls off the float in slow motion and their makeup begins to run.
